LoneStar Beatdown-House of Blues

Congratulations to Bobby Bradshaw on his win against Scott Buzzaird at the Lonestar Beatdown this past Sunday. Bobby won by arm bar at 2:20 in the first round. Way to go Bobby!!!!!!

Fall Festival

Biggest loser- THE FIRST DAY

Great job everyone participating in the biggest loser contest!!! Today was our first REAL workout and I didn't make it easy for you:-) Remember to stick to your diet and no excuses for missing class tomorrow! Also, make sure you are drinking LOTS of water to rehydrate after that sweaty class. Hope you had a great workout!

Saturday October 17th at the Mall of the Mainland our students will be perfoming in a child safety demo. Please let Mr. Carter know if you are interested in performing. Krunk City Boxing

World Martial Arts and 646 MMA would like to announce a new addition to our gym, Coach Angel Sauceda's Krunk City Boxing.

They are associated with USA Boxing, and are a non profit organization servicing our community with at risk children and teens, who are looking for a change in health, attitude, and are willing to work hard. Their program teaches self esteem, structure and discipline. Krunk City Boxing will teach the basic fundamentels of Boxing, and cardio and strength training. Sauceda also has many ameature and pro boxing students.

This really is an amazing merge of gyms. We are now the ONLY boxing gym in the area and the ONLY MMA gym in the area offering REAL boxing to their fighters.

New MMA Class

We are happpy to announce that our MMA classes are getting too big!! To take care of this we are now offering a MMA beginner adult class and a MMA teen class that will teach basic fundamentals of MMA. These classes will be added to our schedule soon.

A Real Hero

I read a story today about a quadruple amputee named Kyle who was a winning High School wrestler and was going to start competing in MMA. I think this guy is amazing and a true role model for everyone. Here is a link to his story.

On Friday April 17th WMA's Stephen Whorf dominated his opponent for 3 rounds and came out with the win. You can currently see him on the Superman's Official Planetary Fitness Magazine's cover as their man of the year. Congratulations Stephen!!!!!!
